Morris Hedstrom (MH) is Fiji's largest wholesale and retail organisation with a chain of supermarket, variety stores are now seeking to recruit a suitably qualified person for the position of Bank Reconciliation Officer.
Responsibilities:
Carry out bank reconciliations
Prepare monthly summarized report of unallocated banking transactions from the bank reconciliations with all exceptions investigated
Provide status updates on daily bank reconciliation and cashflow management
Undertake other duties as required by the Financial Controller
Requirements:
Tertiary qualification in accounting or financial management from a recognised institute
At least two years experience in a similar position
Ability to wok as part of a team and under minimum supervision
Must have strong attention to details, highly organised and computer literate

The Finance Manager will be fully responsible for delivering financial reporting and insight to drive sound financial based decision making and improve business performance, deliver a strong control on environment and risk management.
The successful candidate will have the following:
- A Bachelors Degree majoring in Accounting Business or Commerce
- Membership of a recognised accounting body
- A minimum of 10years Financial Accounting experience in a senior role
- A good knowledge of International Financial Reporting requirements
- Ability to prepare a complete set of Financial statements with cash flows using a multi-currency financial reporting system
- Experience working in Windows PC computerized environment in particular MYOB
- Excellent Excel Skills is a must
