Applications are invited from suitably qualified individuals for the above position, which will be based at our Sales Warehouse Site in Labasa.

This position reports to the Regional Sales Manager North at the site, and the key responsibilities include:

• Stock movement and control following standard operating procedures

• Loading and unloading of stock

• Monitoring stock levels and rotating stock according to age

• Maintaining stock records neatly and accurately

• Safety focus in all handling of stock

We are looking for people with minimum qualification of at least a pass in FSLC and who have had at least 3 years experience in a similar role.

You must be self-motivated, reliable, have a high level of integrity, be enthusiastic with a strong commitment to delivery in full on time, be a good team player and prepared to be physically challenged.

If you have a valid driver's license, and accredited to operate a forklift, this would be advantageous but not essential.

Foster's Group Pacific Limited (FGPL), a multi-national, multi-beverage manufacturing Company in Fiji and part of a multi-national and global company is seeking an IT Field Support Assistant to join its dynamic team of professionals. A key member of the Team, this position will be reporting to the Manager Information Technology. The candidate will be primarily based in Suva and should be able to travel or work extended hours on occasions when required.

The key responsibilities involve:

• Provide technical support across the business installing and supporting hardware and software applications and systems

• Day to day tasks would include the configuration of new computer hardware, installation of software, setting up users on various IT systems, routine IT housekeeping tasks and resolution of certain IT issues in conjunction with the other members of the IT team at Foster's Pacific and Foster's Australia.

• Working with a range of software products from Microsoft, JDE and other leading vendors, as well as laptop, desktop, server systems, CCTV and Telecommunications equipment.

• Involvement in local area networks, wide area networks, internet and a range of voice communication systems.

• Provide on-going technical support across the company installing & supporting software applications which include Windows 7, XP, Server 2008, Server 2003, Microsoft Office, Exchange, Citrix, Business Objects and Virus checking software.

• Support for Email, ADSL/Broadband, Internet access, backup systems and remote connectivity.

• Involvement with Foster's Group Pacific telecommunications PABX's, CCTV, Card Security Access, VP0 and mobile communications network.

• Involvement in finance & business software improvement projects and implementation.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate having undertaken a relevant degree, or will have had at least 5 years experience in an IT Systems Administration Support role, working with Microsoft products or an industry standard Financial system. Technical Skills is preferred with the range of systems in use at Foster's Group Pacific and it is likely that any additional experience on the major network operating systems and financial system will be of value. The role will require some administration of these systems and experience in these areas would be of significant benefit. Any level of Microsoft Certification will be an advantage. The candidate must possess a good command of the English language and must be a competent writer.

The appointee will teach courses in economics at the undergraduate level; conduct research and engage in consultancy. The appointee will be based at the USP Emalus Campus in Vanuatu.
